Neil Crompton was appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in February 2020. Prior to this appointment he was the Director of the Middle East and North Africa Directorate from 2015 to 2019.

Neil joined the FCDO in 1995 as a Senior Research Officer in the Middle East and North Africa Group.

Martina Strong leads the U.S. Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Chargé d’Affaires. A career member of the Senior Foreign Service, Ms. Strong previously served in Iraq as Political Minister Counselor in Baghdad and as the U.S. Army’s Political Advisor in Basrah. Prior to her arrival in Riyadh, she was the Deputy Chief of Mission in Bulgaria. Her other overseas postings included Poland, the Czech Republic, Bosnia Herzegovina, and France. Ms. Strong also spent two years as Director on the National Security Council at the White House, where she headed the U.S. government’s multi-agency effort to organize the 2004 G-8 Summit in Sea Island, as well as two other G-8 Summits and various multilateral meetings.

Mr Wong Chow Ming is the Singapore Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and concurrently accredited to the Kingdom of
Bahrain.

Mr Wong joined the Singapore Foreign Service in 1996. He has
served in various capacities in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
covering Southeast Asia, ASEAN and International Economics. He
was Director-General of the International Economics Directorate
from July 2012 to July 2019. Prior to this appointment, he was
Director/Special Duties (Energy). Mr Wong served as Deputy High
Commissioner at the Singapore High Commission in New Delhi
from 2008 to 2011, and Counsellor at the Singapore Embassy in
Jakarta from 2001 to 2004.

Mr Wong graduated from the National University of Singapore with
a Bachelor of Arts in 1990. In 1999, he obtained a Master of
Science in Strategic Studies from the Nanyang Technological
University, Singapore.

Mr. Johnson specializes in international and domestic transactions and claims, representing global firms in all aspects of international business. He has been active in Saudi Arabia since 1978, maintaining an office in Riyadh since 1984.

He serves as Chairman of the Middle East Council of Chambers of Commerce and KKR Saudi Ltd., and has over the years served on numerous boards, including 2017-2019 as Chairman of the American Business Group of Riyadh, three years as Chairman and CEO of the humanitarian air service provider AirServ, and ten years as Chairman of the Vint Hill Economic Development Authority.

He supports clients in understanding and shaping their business, political, legal, regulatory, and media environments, and in understanding and addressing the complex realm where government, politics, media, and business intersect. Mr. Johnson graduated from Princeton University and New York University Law School, and is licensed to practice in New York and the District of Columbia.
