Jeddah: The AmCham Saudi Arabia's Healthcare Committee leaders and members will visit Jeddah and Makkah, on Monday, April 29th to explore the healthcare sector business community in the region. This event consists of a full-day itinerary of site visits in Makkah and Jeddah.
The healthcare industry in Saudi Arabia has undergone significant development over the past few decades. The Saudi government has invested heavily in healthcare infrastructure and services, resulting in improved healthcare access and outcomes for its citizens. The country has many hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities, both public and private.
During the visit, you will have the opportunity to meet with healthcare leaders in the region and learn more about their facilities, processes, products/services, and their commitment to quality and safety. You will also have the chance to tour the facilities and see their equipment and technology in action.

Riyadh: On March 5th, the American Chamber of Commerce Saudi Arabia’s Technology Committee hosted the second Annual LEAP24 Networking Reception at the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh.
The event gathered over 200 guests including our members, industry leaders and LEAP24 participants to engage in interesting conversations, establish valuable connections, strengthen our business community, and learn more about the upcoming programs and initiatives in the technology sector.
In line with LEAP24’s theme of “Imagine a world powered by intelligent AI”, the evening’s speakers touched upon the importance of US innovation in the booming technology sector in Saudi Arabia, including remarks from Andrew Billard, U.S. Senior Commercial Counselor; Sarah Al-Husseini, AmCham Saudi Arabia Technology Committee Chair; Steve Lutes, Vice President Middle East Affairs at U.S. Chamber of Commerce; U.S. Ambassador Michael Ratney and Gary Miller, Executive Vice President & Customer Success Officer at Oracle.

Riyadh: On March 7th, The American Chamber of Commerce Saudi Arabia's ESG Committee hosted “Sustainability Insights: Navigating ESG Reporting for Responsible Growth" round table discussions at the Marriott Hotel, Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh.
The event gathered the ESG industry experts, thought leaders, and professionals to foster knowledge, collaboration, and innovation within the critical aspects of sustainability reporting.
The opening remarks were eloquently delivered by Nizar Kammourie, the Chairman of AmCham Saudi Arabia's ESG Committee and CEO of SAWACO, followed by Dareen Ayyad, the ESG Committee Co-Chair and Country Manager at UL Solutions, who shared the presentation on UL 360 data management and reporting software.
The event featured five dynamic roundtable discussions moderated by ESG leaders that allowed for candid conversations and diverse perspectives covering the following topics: 1. The Impact of ESG Reporting on Climate Change and Environmental Performance: A Critical Analysis, moderated by Nizar Kammourie. 2. Measuring what matters: Metrics & Strategies for Impactful Social Impact & Diversity Reporting, moderated by Dr. Luisa Javier. 3. Unveiling the power of online & digital ESG reporting moderated by Andrey Kozhevnikov. 4. Beyond Boundaries: Data Integrity & Reporting Brilliance, moderated by Dareen Ayyad. 5. Strategy in connection: Robust Stakeholder Engagement and Effective Communication, moderated by Neil Atkinson.
These interactive roundtable sessions created an invaluable platform for engaging conversations and knowledge-sharing among participants and moderators, generating fresh ideas, ignited passion and renewed commitment to drive positive change through ESG reporting.
The closing remarks provided by Dr. Ahmad Yousef Kutbi, the AmCham Saudi Arabia's ESG Committee Program Director, summarized the importance of this event, followed by the opportunity for all attendees to network and continue the conversations.

Eastern Province: On March 20th, the American Chamber of Commerce Saudi Arabia’s Women in Business Committee hosted a Diwaniya and Ghabga. Special thanks to Mae Al Mozaini, Founder & CEO of Nusf, the Arab Institute for Women’s Empowerment, for opening her home for this special event during the holy month of Ramadan.
Mae has been a champion of the Women in Business Committee since AmCham Saudi Arabia launched in 2021, and she was recently honored by Her Highness Princess Fahda Al Hithlain, wife of King Salman and mother of our Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, as one of 6 women making an impact on women in the Kingdom.
The evening’s program explored crucial factors affecting quality of life and well-being, from work-life balance to financial independence. Guests, both female professionals and male allies, enjoyed an intimate evening of dialogue where we dove deeper into how best to advocate for positive change and enhanced quality of life for both men and women working in the Kingdom.

Eastern Province: On March 4th, AmCham Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province Chapter members participated in a site visit to King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) following on from the Member Networking Breakfast in September 2023 where members learned about the development and its opportunities for U.S. businesses to expand their footprint in the Kingdom.
Guests were invited for a welcome reception and an introductory presentation about the SPARK development followed by a networking lunch with senior executives and board members of SPARK and then a tour of the U.S. businesses already operational at SPARK, including NOVEL.

Riyadh: On March 12th, AmCham Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Chapter hosted an exclusive Iftar gathering at Fairmont Hotel in Riyadh bringing together our esteemed members, guests and their families.
The night of networking and camaraderie commenced with welcome remarks from Mazen Takhah, AmCham Saudi Arabia Board Member, followed by engaging conversations and delicious Iftar buffet, that was joined by our guests of honor including Ambassador of the United States Michael Ratney, U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission Alison Dilworth and U.S. Senior Commercial Counselor Andrew Billard.
Set in a picturesque venue, the evening was a great opportunity to strengthen bonds, build new connections, and foster collaboration within our community in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan.

Eastern Province: On Wednesday, March 27th, the AmCham Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province Chapter hosted its annual Iftar gathering with a private seating on the Avens Terrace as we celebrated the blessings of Ramadan with our members, business leaders from the region, and our partners from the U.S. Consulate Dhahran and the U.S. Commercial Service.
We’re so grateful to have grown the Eastern Province Chapter as we have over the last three years, which allows us to continue our mission of promoting U.S.-Saudi business partnership and supporting U.S. investment in the Kingdom.
We were delighted to have the leaders of the AmCham Energy Committee, Chairman Ebubekir Koyuncu, CEO of Air Products Qudra - APQ and Co-Chairman Reid Wayman of Flowserve Corporation in attendance.
