Eastern Province: We’re proud to share the success of the AmCham Charity Golf Tournament & Awards Dinner last weekend, 12 January 2024, co-hosted with AmCham Bahrain at the Royal Golf Club Bahrain and The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain.
The golf tournament welcomed 100 golfers from both Saudi Arabia and Bahrain for a Texas Scramble-style tournament sponsored by SANAD and Radian Chemicals. The golfers joined for a Networking Breakfast sponsored by the AmCham Saudi Sports Committee in association with Althaus Yachts and Hushood Entertainment before hitting the course for a 7AM shotgun start.
Almost 200 AmCham members, business leaders and esteemed guests, including U.S. Ambassador to Bahrain Steve Bondy and his wife Meghan, then enjoyed an amazing evening reception at the opulent Al Noor Ballroom where a tribute was paid to David Cantrell, the late ABA-EP President and originator of the ABA-EP & AmCham Bahrain Annual Golf partnership dating back almost 20 years.
We wish to express our sincere appreciation to our charitable partners, NUSF and Injaz. Both organizations’ CEOs Mae Mozaini and Hana Sarwani participated in the program by sharing the admirable missions and work their organizations are doing to bolster women and young people in business in the region.
We would also like the show our gratitude to the following sponsors, without which, this collaborative event uniting three countries together, would not have been possible:
