In the line with Vision 2030 and business climate transformations in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the explosive growth of American Chamber of Commerce Saudi Arabia is exciting, and we are pleased to take the business relationship to the next level.
As we are transitioning to the new season, we are ready to kick off and deliver the relevant programming for our eleven sectors committees. The calendar is busy so please check our events section for the upcoming events.
Furthermore, the elections for 2023-2026 AmCham Board of Directors are just around the corner so don’t forget to register for the Meet Your Candidates Virtual Event today at 6 pm to hear more from our Nominees ready to represent AmCham Saudi Arabia. The Election will take place on September 17th- 20th and I would be delighted to see your participation and votes!
Finally let me also express my appreciation for our dedicated Members, Committee Chairs, the Board of Directors and Executive Team for their enthusiasm, support and trust in AmCham.

The upcoming election timeline: - 3 September: Meet Your Board Candidates Virtual Event
- 17-20 September: Virtual Election via ElectionBuddy application
- 21 September: Election candidates to be contacted individually with election results
- 24-26 September: Virtual Run-Off Election via ElectionBuddy (if needed)
- 1 October: Annual General Meeting in each chapter where election results will be announced to full membership

Jeddah: On September 12, the WIB Diwaniya will bring together business leaders from Jeddah and other parts of the Kingdom to explore this topic and brainstorm ways to create and support more women in leadership roles. The forum will be one of fostering dialogue and hearing ideas from all participants, with a brief intro to present the results from our recent social media survey on leadership.

Aaron Johnson is the Incoming Director of Jeddah Chapter at AmCham Saudi Arabia.
Aaron joined AmCham Saudi Arabia in August 2023 as the Chapter Director for Jeddah. He is the primary contact for Jeddah membership and his responsibilities include new business development, management of special projects, recommendations on new initiatives for the Board’s consideration, and expansion of services and benefits to increase AmCham membership, its community linkages, and its relevance to business in Saudi Arabia and the U.S. |

| The Jeddah Chapter Coordinator provides event and logistical support to the American Chamber of Commerce Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah Chapter. The role reports directly to the Jeddah Chapter Director and coordinates with the other executive team members including the Director of Finance, Director of Member Relations & Partnerships and Director of Communications & Marketing and Director of Committees, Programs & Event Execution. Physical presence in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is required for the role. The Jeddah Chapter Coordinator liaises with the other chapters in the organization in Riyadh and in Eastern Province as applicable. As the Jeddah Chapter Coordinator, this role also coordinates meetings of the Jeddah Chapter’s Board of Directors. |
