Join the American Chamber of Commerce Saudi Arabia for a Diwaniya and Ghabga on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 9 o'clock to 11 o'clock at night, courtesy of the AmCham Women in Business Committee. Enjoy this special social gathering during Ramadan as we explore crucial factors affecting quality of life and well-being, from work-life balance to financial independence. Guests will enjoy an intimate evening of dialogue where we will delve deeper into how best to advocate for positive change and enhanced quality of life for both men and women working in the Kingdom. The program will begin promptly at 9:30 PM.

As explained by Arab News, "Ghabga gatherings take place at night during Ramadan, usually after Tarawih prayers or before sahoor. Ghabga is a long-standing Kuwaiti ritual that later spread to other Gulf nations." This event, after iftar and before sahoor, presents a unique opportunity for people to gather to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan and the heritage of the Kingdom.

This event is open to both women and men, Muslims and non-Muslims. We encourage our member companies to consider identifying women executives or those poised for leadership within their organizations to invite, along with male allies who promote women's inclusion and advancement in their organizations as well.
