Sports Committee Presents "Women in Sports: Breaking Barriers and Building Legacies"

Join AmCham Sports Committee, in collaboration with Hooves Sports, for a panel discussion on the topic of "Women in Sports: Breaking Barriers and Building Legacies", scheduled on Monday, October 23rd, 2023.

This event aims to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of women in sports while addressing the challenges they continue to face.

The panel will be joined by our special guest, HRH Abdullah bin Fahad bin Abdullah Al Saud, for an interactive and thought-provoking discussion as we explore the challenges faced by women in sports, the strides that they have made, and the importance of continuing to foster inclusivity and equality. We will focus on recent Saudi female participation in the Special Olympics, the newly formed Saudi Ladies Polo team, and upcoming tournaments where Saudi athletes are breaking boundaries and setting records. We will look at the impact that the role of women in sports has on Saudi Arabia's growing tourism and the aspiration of bringing the World Cup Competition to the region!
