The American Chamber of Commerce Saudi Arabia is pleased to announce the third Energy Committee Lunch & Learn series coming up on Thursday, May 18th, 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the Al Rushaid Village Compound.
Some figures suggest that in just five years time, Saudi Arabia has nearly doubled the percentage of women in the Saudi workforce, but in the energy sector, there's still work to be done to balance the gender divide. On the heals of Women's History Month and International Women's Day, join us to explore how companies operating in Saudi Arabia are meeting the ambitious goals of Vision 2030 when it comes to women, while also making better business in the process.
The Energy Committee will present a panel on Women in Energy, to include panelists Mae Al Mozaini, Founder & CEO of Nusf - the Arab Institute for Women's Empowerment and former Saudi Aramco executive, Fatimah Alfardan, Instrumentation Engineer with McDermott, as well as Dr. Lina Noureddin, President, CEO & Founder of Lamar Holding, which has been developing, building and operating large-scale projects across Saudi Arabia's energy infrastructure network for more than 15 years, and moderator Noora AlOtaibi, Project Engineer and Neom Account Manager with KBR and Co-Program Director of the AmCham Energy Committee.
The Energy Committee is sponsored by Air Products Qudra and Flowserve. The luncheon for this event provided by KBR.
The event includes a networking luncheon beforehand and a Q&A to follow. Non-members guests are welcome to join.
Registration will close at 10AM on Wednesday, May 17th.
